INCT-Acqua received highest remarks in INCTs evaluation

The Evaluation of INCTs Seminary was held in 2013, and INCT – Acqua achieved positive and encouraging results, highlighting as INCT model to be followed in both the proposal and the implementation, presentation and reports, and also got the highest remarks in all evaluated criterions.

According to the evaluators, the INCT-Acqua demonstrated high expertise in science and technology, besides great contribution in terms of innovative proposals to attend deriving problems from the interference of mineral and metallurgical activities on water quality, soil and neotropical biota.

The National Institute of Science and Technology is a Program launched by the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI). The program aims to support the development of Institutes at the forefront of scientific and technological knowledge in strategic areas for the sustainable development of the country. All INCT´s of Brazil pass by periodic evaluation in order to maintain the highest level of the program.
